What it did-The Articals of Confederation set up a gov't which had a one house legislature and had 2 to 7 delagates from each state, but only one person from each state could vote. It also could borrow money, matian a army, and conduct forien affairs.

  What it didn't do-The Articals of Confederation had very little power and that led to some problems. They couldn't- tax, couldn't make states do anything, couldn't enforce laws, couldn't trade and they also couldn't kick the british out. they also didn't have any court and no exutive branch, which ment they had no president or no vice president.
   

  By these ups and downs they could set up a fedral gov't.
