This page will explain 5 of the 7 principles of the constitution, and will give one example of each principle.

There are 7 principles of the constitution but we will only talk about the 5 majoir principles and they are
1.Popular Sovereignty-This one says that the people gave the gov't. its power. So the people gave authority.

2.Federalism-This says that all power is divided up between natinal and state govornments.

3.Seperstion of Powers-This principle says that there are three branches of gov't. and all share the power equaly. This ensures that one branch does not become stonger tan the others.
